Turbines

Power packages built around lightweight gas turbine cores derived from aircraft engines, prized for high power-to-weight ratio, rapid startup, and trailer mobility at the frac site. Common ratings span roughly 20 to 35 MW per unit, such as LM2500-class machines.

Robust, slower-speed turbines designed for continuous base-load duty and long maintenance intervals. They trade fast starts and compact size for durability and tolerance of lower-quality field gas.

Skid- or trailer-mounted turbine-generator sets integrated with enclosure, controls, switchgear, and exhaust for rapid wellsite deployment and relocation. The complete package delivers fleet electrical power as a self-contained unit.

Turbines configured to run on natural gas or liquid fuel and to transfer between them, often without shutdown, preserving uptime when pipeline or field gas supply is interrupted. They suit remote pads with intermittent gas availability.

The skids, valves, filtration, and combustor fuel nozzles that meter and condition gas or liquid fuel into the turbine. Fuel-gas conditioning handles CNG and variable field-gas composition to protect combustion stability.

Turbines driven by pressurized steam, used in combined-heat-and-power and waste-heat recovery arrangements rather than as the prime mover at the wellhead. They convert thermal energy from a boiler or turbine exhaust into shaft power.

Radial-inflow expansion turbines that recover energy and produce refrigeration as high-pressure gas is let down, common in gas processing and NGL recovery. They extract work from a pressure drop instead of from combustion.

Turbine units coupling the rotor to driven equipment or a generator through an integral gearbox to match speeds. The geared arrangement allows the turbine to run at its optimum speed while the load runs at another.
