Proppant Silos

Self-contained vertical silos mounted on a trailer chassis that erect hydraulically on site, allowing rapid mobilization and demobilization between wells. Each unit holds proppant and gravity-feeds the blender, eliminating the footprint and dust of horizontal sand boxes.

Large-capacity silos assembled on site from bolted steel panels or rings rather than shipped as a single welded vessel. They provide high storage volume for high-intensity or long-duration completions where mobile capacity is insufficient.

An arrangement of multiple vertical silos (commonly six) tied together with a shared conveyor and discharge gate manifold. The cluster centralizes feed control and increases total wellsite proppant inventory to keep pace with continuous pumping.

Sealed boxes or containers that are filled at a transload facility, trucked to location, and stacked into a delivery frame that gravity-feeds proppant. They serve as a silo alternative that minimizes transfer points and airborne dust.

Belt or screw conveyors and metering gates positioned under the silos to move proppant from storage to the blender hopper. Gate actuation and conveyor speed set the proppant feed rate during a frac stage.

The base frames, outriggers, legs, and lifting mechanisms that stabilize a vertical silo and raise it to operating position. They distribute load to the pad and provide the elevation needed for gravity discharge.

Filtration, baghouse, and aeration components fitted at fill and transfer points to capture respirable silica and promote consistent proppant flow. They support compliance with the OSHA silica exposure standard and reduce bridging in the silo.
