Founded in 1989 as a joint venture with Baker Oil Tools (a division of Baker Hughes Inc.) USA, BOTIL became India's leading downhole completions equipment manufacturer after acquiring full control in 1995, along with transfer of technology and quality standards. The company operates a state-of-the-art 40,000 square meter manufacturing facility at Bhora Kalan and is recognized as an R&D Centre by India's Ministry of Science and Technology.
