F.B. S.p.A., originally founded in 1960 as ITMI (Impianti Tubazioni Montaggi Industriali), is an Italian manufacturer specializing in the design and construction of compressor packages, skid-mounted process systems, and engineered auxiliary units for the oil and gas, petrochemical, energy, biogas, biomethane, and CNG industries. The company began as a steel structures and piping specialist for the sugar refinery sector and expanded into oil and gas during the 1970s, growing its facility to 26,000 square meters. Owned by the Balboni family since its founding, F.B. S.p.A. assembles complete compression systems integrating compressors powered electrically or via gas motors, delivering turnkey solutions on skids complete with piping, instrumentation, valves, and control systems. The company also fabricates auxiliary units including cooling and lubrication systems, seal panels, gas treatment and filtration skids, pressure equipment, prefabricated piping, and structural steel.
