L&T Modular Fabrication Yard LLC

L&T Modular Fabrication Yard LLC is a subsidiary of Larsen & Toubro Limited (L&T), one of India's largest engineering, procurement, and construction conglomerates headquartered in Mumbai. Located within the Sohar Industrial Port Area in North Oman, the yard operates as an all-weather modular fabrication facility with an annual fabrication capacity of 60,000 metric tons. The Sohar complex combines the Modular Fabrication Yard with a manufacturing complex for L&T Heavy Engineering, primarily serving hydrocarbon, petrochemical, refinery, fertilizer, and power projects across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. Capabilities include the fabrication of process modules, pressure vessels, critical piping spools, subsea structures, offshore platforms, and large modular urea/process plant packages for export. The facility delivers integrated design-to-build solutions for complex onshore and offshore hydrocarbon projects and is positioned as one of Oman's strategic heavy fabrication assets, supporting projects such as the Modular Urea Plant modules shipped from Sohar to Australia. The joint venture operates under the broader L&T Hydrocarbon Engineering and L&T Heavy Engineering businesses and is API 2B certified for structural steel pipe fabrication.
