Sand X

Sand X manufactures mobile sand separation and gas management equipment for well completions. Founded in 2008 in Granbury, Texas, the company pioneered the green completions process by developing systems that remove sand during drill out and flowback while separating oil, produced water, and hazardous gases. The product line includes the Sand X sand separator (Beast and Boss models), the Super Loop gas separation unit (Royal, Hero, and Hydraulic models), and supporting equipment such as flare lines, generators, knockout vessels, and three-sided sand boxes. Sand X holds five U.S. patents covering its separation technologies. The company operates from six locations across Texas, Colorado, Ohio, and Oklahoma, serving major basins including the Permian, Delaware, DJ, Bakken, Haynesville, and Marcellus/Utica. Clients include BP, Chevron, Oxy, Marathon Oil, Chesapeake, and Callon Petroleum.
