Sichuan Zhongman Petroleum Equipment Manufacturing Co., Ltd. (四川中曼石油设备制造有限公司) is the Chengdu-based manufacturing subsidiary of Zhongman Petroleum and Natural Gas Group Corp., Ltd. (ZPEC), a publicly listed comprehensive oil and gas corporation on the Shanghai Stock Exchange (Stock Code: 603619). Founded in 2003 under the ZPEC group, Sichuan Zhongman serves as one of ZPEC's two major manufacturing bases — the other located in Shanghai's Lingang New Area — and is the primary production site for land drilling rigs, rig components, and downhole tools. The company first obtained API monogram certification in March 2008 and as of May 2025 holds six API certifications: API 7-1, 8C, 4F, 7K, 16C, and Q1. The Sichuan facility has designed and manufactured over 100 drilling rigs exported to more than 20 countries and regions across Asia, Europe, South America, and Africa. Products include skid-mounted and trailer-mounted land drilling rigs for 3,000–9,000 m drilling depth, top drive systems (TDS series, API 8C PSL SR2 compliant), high-pressure mud pumps (F series, P-2200, and DQP-2400 five-cylinder pump), drawworks (DC and VFD types, API 7K), masts and substructures (API 4F), crown blocks, travelling blocks, rotary tables, rig automation systems including automatic catwalks, iron roughnecks (ZMT120), and pipe-handling devices. ZPEC Equipment Group — Sichuan Zhongman's umbrella organization — holds 304 patents including 21 invention patents and 259 utility model patents, with key technologies assessed at international leading levels. The facility has been recognized as a Sichuan Provincial Enterprise Technology Center.
