AJT Engineering Limited is a multi-discipline engineering services company headquartered in Aberdeen, Scotland. Founded in 1948 as Aberdeen Jig and Tool Company Limited, AJT has over 75 years of experience serving the oil and gas, hydro power, wind energy, hydrogen, water, and moorings sectors. The company operates three divisions — Energy Engineering, Energy Site Services, and Energy Fabrication — from facilities spanning 5 acres with 70,000 sq ft of workshop floor space equipped with 12 overhead cranes (up to 30-tonne capacity). Core capabilities include CNC machining, API threading, specialized welding, pressure vessel fabrication, structural steelwork, assembly and testing, and mechanical overhaul. AJT serves as an approved vendor to major OEMs for repair and testing of drill-through and pressure control equipment, including BOPs, risers, connectors, flanges, and tubing/casing hangers. In 2018 AJT acquired Black Gold Oil Tools to expand downhole tool capabilities. The company also manufactures the C-Dart mooring buoy system and distributes Rittmeyer instrumentation products for the hydro power sector.
