DEACERO USA, Inc. is the U.S. subsidiary of Grupo DEACERO, one of the largest steel and wire manufacturers in Mexico, founded in 1952 by Don Cesar M. Gutierrez. The company is a major producer, marketer, and distributor of steel wire finished goods, long steel products, and reinforcing steel across North America. DEACERO operates through its U.S. division, Mid-Continent Steel and Wire (MCSW), headquartered in Houston, Texas, which has served the market since 1987. The company manufactures a comprehensive product line including industrial steel wire, wire rod, rebar, structural beams and bars, commercial bars, fencing solutions, wire mesh, nails and fasteners, and wire strands. DEACERO holds API 9A certification for wire rope manufacturing, ISO 9001 quality management certification, and API Q1 certification. The company operates two steel mills, 15 wire plants, and 16 scrap yards, making it Mexico's largest steel recycler. DEACERO serves the oil and gas, construction, agriculture, manufacturing, and infrastructure markets with sustainable steel products produced with the lowest CO2 emissions in North America.
