Dura-Bond Pipe is a vertically integrated steel line pipe manufacturer and coating applicator serving the energy and transportation sectors, headquartered in Export, Pennsylvania. Founded in 1960 by J.M. Norris as a corrosion protection services company, Dura-Bond expanded into pipe manufacturing in 2003 when it acquired the former Bethlehem Steel plant in Steelton, PA and resumed DSAW pipemaking operations. The company operates four facilities in Pennsylvania's Marcellus Shale region, manufacturing DSAW straight seam pipe (24-42 inch diameter, grades up to X-80) at Steelton, ERW/HFW pipe (8-5/8 to 20 inch) at McKeesport, fusion bonded epoxy and ARO coatings at Duquesne (4.5-36 inch) and Steelton (24-42 inch), and structural steel fabrication at Export and Steelton. Dura-Bond also distributes a full line of pipeline products including tape systems, epoxy repair kits, holiday detectors, pigging products, casing spacers, and rock shield. The company holds API 5L licenses for steel pipe manufacturing, AISC Level II certification for steel fabrication, and SSPC certification for protective coatings application. Dura-Bond maintains active membership in the National Association of Pipe Coating Applicators (NAPCA) and the National Association of Steel Pipe Distributors (NASPD).
