JSW Steel USA Inc is a vertically integrated steel manufacturer and subsidiary of the diversified US $24 billion JSW Group, with steelmaking capacity of 29.7 MTPA worldwide. The company operates two strategic facilities in the United States: a steelmaking and hot rolling complex in Mingo Junction, Ohio, and a plate and pipe mill in Baytown, Texas. JSW Steel USA is home to the largest and most modern Consteel EAF technology in North America and one of the widest plate mills, producing carbon steel plate, DSAW line pipe, and hot rolled coil via the Electric Arc Furnace method. The company is the only American mill offering small lot deliveries and utilizing proven U-O-E production technology for DSAW pipe. JSW Steel USA services shipyards, oilfield fabricators, heavy equipment producers, machinery makers, the global energy and petrochemicals industry, and steel service centers. The Mingo Junction facility was acquired by JSW Steel Ltd and features a vertically integrated EAF-to-slab model, while the Baytown facility has roots tracing back to the 1960s US Steel Texas Works.
