Mega Pipes Private Limited is an Indian manufacturer of HSAW (Helical Submerged Arc Welded) and ERW/HFW (Electric Resistance Welded / High-Frequency Welded) steel pipes for oil and gas, water infrastructure, and construction applications. Originally incorporated in 2005 as Topworth Pipes and Tubes Pvt Ltd, the company was acquired by the Mega Group of Companies under NCLT order in March 2021, with commercial operations resuming in April 2021. The company operates two manufacturing facilities: a primary plant in Khopoli, Maharashtra (55 km from Mumbai port) with 300,000 MT/year HSAW pipe capacity, and a secondary plant in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh. HSAW pipes range from 18 to 100 inches in diameter, while the ERW/HFW line produces pipes from 6 to 20 inches using FFX (Flexible Forming Excellence) technology, described as the first such installation in India. The Khopoli facility includes anti-corrosion coating lines with 3.6 million sq.m./year external coating capacity and 2.4 million sq.m./year internal coating capacity, using German and Korean technology. Products comply with API 5L, API 5CT, ISO 3183, and IS 3589 standards. The company is headquartered in Mumbai and is part of the Mega Group, which operates across plastics, steel, and real estate sectors.
