NGL Services

Cryogenic turboexpander and refrigeration or lean-oil absorption facilities that chill and separate raw natural gas to recover a mixed NGL (Y-grade) stream while delivering pipeline-spec residue gas. They set ethane and propane recovery levels based on processing margins.

Trains of distillation towers (deethanizer, depropanizer, debutanizer, deisobutanizer) that split mixed Y-grade NGLs into individual purity products. Each tower separates components by relative volatility to meet purity specifications for downstream sale.

The finished single-component or specification streams produced by fractionation: ethane and ethane/propane mix for petrochemical crackers, propane and butanes for LPG and blending, and natural gasoline (pentanes-plus) for diluent and gasoline blendstock. Each product is sold against a defined GPA specification.

High-volume underground salt-dome caverns and aboveground bullet tanks, spheres, and refrigerated tanks used to hold NGL and LPG inventory. Storage buffers production against seasonal and petrochemical demand swings.

Mixed-NGL and purity-product pipelines, rail tank cars, truck transports, and marine vessels that move liquids between plants, hubs, and end markets. Includes batching and pumping infrastructure for long-haul NGL takeaway.

Amine and caustic units, molecular-sieve and adsorption dehydrators, and merox/sweetening systems that remove CO2, H2S, mercaptans, and water from NGL streams. Treating brings products within corrosivity, sulfur, and moisture specifications.

Truck, rail, and marine loading racks with metering, sampling, and odorization systems for propane and butane LPG. Custody-transfer skids meter volume and quality at the point of title transfer.
