Al Gharbia Pipe Company LLC (AGPC) is one of the most technologically advanced Longitudinally Submerged Arc Welded (LSAW) pipe manufacturers in the world, established in May 2015 in Abu Dhabi, UAE. AGPC is a joint venture between ADQ/Senaat (51%), JFE Steel of Japan (27%), and Marubeni Itochu Steel (22%). The company manufactures high-quality LSAW steel pipe from 18 inches to 60 inches in outside diameter with wall thickness up to 44.5mm. AGPC produces linepipe to API 5L (Grade B to X80), structural pipe to API 2B, and conductor pipe. The facility is located in KIZAD (Khalifa Industrial Zone Abu Dhabi) and features a state-of-the-art automated pipe manufacturing line with a 2nd generation JCO pipe forming press. AGPC has embraced Industry 4.0 with a Smart Manufacturing Execution System (MES 4.0). The company has over 200 team members, 360,000 tons of storage capacity with 52,000 sqm covered area, and has surpassed 700,000 MT of cumulative production. Named an Industry 4.0 Digital Leader by the UAE Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology.
