Nanjing Iron & Steel Group International Trade Co., Ltd. (NISCO International) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Nanjing Steel Group Co., Ltd., specializing in global bulk commodity trade and steel material commerce. Founded in 1998 as the international trading arm of Nanjing Steel (established 1958), NISCO joined CITIC Group in 2023 and operates in alliance with CITIC Taifu Special Steel. The company exports high-end steel products to over 60 countries across a network of 3 international platforms, 9 overseas offices, and 1 subsidiary. NISCO is the 10th steel manufacturer worldwide and the 1st in China to obtain Saudi Aramco supplier qualification for acid-resistant pipeline and vessel steels. Core product lines include pipeline steel (sour service, offshore, hydrogen service), pressure vessel steel (LNG 9Ni cryogenic), OCTG/fluid pipe steel, petroleum drilling tool steel, offshore engineering steel, special steel long products, and the Jinyu nondestructive testing equipment line. The company holds independent bank credit facilities of $2 billion USD and has supplied over 400,000 tons of crude oil tank steel and 51,000+ tons of 9Ni steel for domestic LNG projects. NISCO holds certifications from API, ABS, BV, DNV, LR, NK, KR, CCS, RINA, and JIS among others.
