Chemical Tanks

Rotationally molded cross-linked (XLPE) or linear high-density polyethylene tanks used for atmospheric storage of inhibitors, biocides, methanol, and dilute acids. Their corrosion resistance and light weight make them the default for wellsite chemical totes and vertical bulk tanks.

Tanks engineered for hydrochloric, hydrofluoric, and other stimulation or treating acids, using acid-resistant linings, polyethylene, or FRP construction with sealed venting. They support fracturing and acidizing operations where standard steel would corrode rapidly.

Welded carbon-steel, stainless, or fiberglass-reinforced plastic vessels for larger-volume or elevated-temperature chemical and fluid storage at batteries and plants. Steel tanks are typically designed and inspected under API 650 and API 653.

Top-, side-, or shaft-mounted mixers that keep multi-component chemicals, emulsions, and slurries homogeneous and prevent settling. Drive types range from direct-drive electric and air motors to gear-reduced units sized to tank volume and fluid viscosity.

Bermed pans, double-wall tanks, and lined catch basins that capture spills and leaks from primary chemical storage. Containment volume is sized to meet EPA SPCC requirements under 40 CFR 112, typically the largest tank volume plus freeboard for precipitation.

Truck-mounted and trailer-mounted tanks for transporting and delivering bulk chemicals, acids, and methanol to wellsites. Cargo tank specifications and hazardous-materials transport follow U.S. DOT 49 CFR requirements.

ASME-coded pressure vessels such as horizontal bullets and spheres used to store propane, LPG, and other liquefied gases under pressure. They are designed to ASME BPVC Section VIII and installed per NFPA 58.

Smaller calibrated tanks that feed chemical injection pumps on production skids, providing a measured local supply of inhibitor or treatment fluid. They are often fitted with level gauges or sight tubes for dosing verification and consumption tracking.
