Downhole PCP Systems (Rod-Driven)
Subsurface progressing-cavity pumps run on a string of sucker rods and turned from surface, used as an artificial-lift method to produce oil from the wellbore. The rotor is rod-string driven while the stator is anchored in the production tubing.
Bottom-Hole Drive PCP Systems
Configurations that place the prime mover downhole near the pump, eliminating the rod string and surface drive. They suit deviated, horizontal, or deep wells where rod-string rotation would cause excessive wear or torque loss.
Surface Drive Heads
Wellhead-mounted drive assemblies that transmit rotary torque to the rod string and carry the axial load of the rod and fluid column. They incorporate a thrust bearing, stuffing box, and braking or backspin-control system.
Surface Transfer & Multiphase Booster Pumps
Above-ground PCP units used to move heavy oil, emulsions, and gas-liquid multiphase streams through gathering and processing systems. Their sealed progressing cavities handle high viscosity and entrained gas with low pulsation.
Drive Rods & High-Torque Rod Strings
Continuous or coupled rod strings that connect the surface or downhole drive to the pump rotor. High-torque designs are specified to withstand the rotational and tensile loads of deep heavy-oil PCP installations.
Rotors & Stators
The two core hydraulic elements: a precision-machined helical metal rotor and an elastomer-lined stator whose internal double-helix forms the sealing cavities. Geometry, lobe ratio, and elastomer compound are matched to fluid, temperature, and aromatics content.
Permanent-Magnet & Electric Drive Systems
Variable-speed drive packages, including permanent-magnet motors, that regulate pump rotational speed to match well inflow. Speed control optimizes volumetric efficiency and reduces stator wear over the pump life.
