Top-Loading Arms
Arms that deliver product into a carrier through an open dome or vapor-controlled hatch from above. Configured as fixed-reach or telescoping designs and often fitted with a drop tube and overfill or vapor-tight head.
Bottom-Loading Arms
Arms that connect to a sealed bottom coupler on the carrier for vapor-tight, splash-free transfer per API RP 1004. Commonly used for gasoline and product racks where vapor recovery and faster fill rates are required.
Marine Loading Arms
Large counterweighted arms mounted on jetties and piers to transfer product between shore piping and tankers or barges. Often include hydraulic drive, position monitoring, and a powered emergency release coupling for vessel breakaway protection.
Railcar Loading Arms
Top- or bottom-connection arms designed for the longer reach and height variation of tank rail cars. Frequently include a spotting platform interface, swing-out parking, and a drop tube for railcar dome access.
Cryogenic / LNG and LPG Loading Arms
Insulated or vacuum-jacketed arms with low-temperature swivel joints for liquefied gas service. Built for the thermal contraction, vapor-return line, and dry-break or emergency-release requirements of LPG and LNG transfer.
Swivel Joints and Replacement Components
The rotating ball-bearing-race joints, counterbalance springs, drop tubes, and seal kits that make up and maintain a loading arm. Sold as spares for rebuild and as the building blocks of custom arm assemblies.
Dry-Break and Emergency Release Couplings
End connections that seal both halves on disconnect to prevent spillage, plus powered or break-away couplings that part safely if a carrier moves under load. Reduce product release and protect the arm during an unplanned departure.
Vapor Recovery Loading Arms
Arms incorporating a parallel vapor-return path that captures displaced vapors during filling and routes them to a recovery or destruction unit. Used to meet emissions limits on volatile product loading.
