Sand Separators

Vessels that use centrifugal force from a tangential inlet to spin solids outward and downward into a collection chamber while clean fluid exits the top. Effective for high-volume flowback and removing fine, abrasive proppant from sand-prone wells.

Vertical vessels that slow the wellstream so sand settles by gravity into a barrel or sump for periodic dumping. Used where lower flow velocities and simpler maintenance are acceptable.

Pressure vessels that split the wellstream into gas and liquid phases. Often combined with sand-removal internals or used downstream of a desander on lower-solids wells.

Vessels that separate gas, oil, and water in a single stage and may incorporate a sand jetting or wash system at the bottom to remove accumulated solids. Common on multi-well test and production packages.

Vessels that remove bulk free water from the oil and gas stream ahead of treating, reducing load on downstream dehydration. Frequently paired with sand-handling internals on solids-laden production.

Custom-fabricated packages that combine sand separation with line heaters or indirect-fired heaters, metering, and storage/oil tanks to deliver a complete inlet-to-tank production train at the well site.

Heavy-wall vessels rated for high wellhead pressures during post-frac flowback, sized to capture large volumes of returning proppant and protect chokes and surface equipment from erosion.
