Single Plug Cementing Heads
Heads that carry one wiper plug, used where only a top plug is required or where the bottom plug is launched separately. Common on smaller-diameter or shallower casing jobs.
Double Plug Cementing Heads
Heads that hold both a bottom and a top wiper plug, allowing the full plug-train sequence to be loaded and released in one job without breaking down the head. Standard for most primary casing cementing.
Top Drive Cementing Heads
Heads designed to thread into or hang beneath a top-drive system so cementing can proceed without removing the top drive. They allow rotation and reciprocation of the casing during the job.
Kelly Drive Cementing Heads
Heads configured for conventional rotary rigs that circulate through the kelly, used on rigs without a top drive. Often simpler quick-connect designs for stab-in or plug-drop operations.
Circulating Heads
Heads used primarily to establish circulation and pump through the casing without a plug-release function, often for conditioning the hole or for stage and squeeze operations.
Plug Drop Assemblies / Plug Containers
The plug-holding sub-assembly and release mechanism that seats the wiper plugs and indicates their launch, supplied as part of or as a module within the cement head.
Cementing Manifolds
Valve-and-piping arrangements that route slurry, spacer, and displacement fluid between the pumps and the cement head, providing isolation, pressure control, and flow switching during the job.
Quick-Latch / Stab-In Cementing Heads
Heads with rapid latch or stab connections to the casing collar that reduce make-up time, used where fast rig-up and rig-down between casing strings is needed.
