Galvanic (Sacrificial) Anodes
Anodes made of magnesium, zinc, or aluminum alloys that corrode preferentially to supply protective current without external power. Used for well-coated pipelines, tank bottoms, and offshore structures with bracelet or stand-off designs.
Impressed Current Anodes
Dimensionally stable anodes such as mixed-metal-oxide (MMO) titanium, high-silicon cast iron, or graphite that deliver current from an external DC source. Suited to long pipelines and large structures with high current demand.
Transformer-Rectifiers and Power Supplies
DC power units that convert AC mains to regulated direct current for impressed current systems. Available in air-cooled, oil-cooled, solar, thermoelectric, and constant-potential configurations for remote sites.
Reference Electrodes and Monitoring Equipment
Half-cells such as copper/copper-sulfate (CSE), silver/silver-chloride, and zinc references used to measure structure-to-electrolyte potential. Includes permanent buried cells, test stations, coupons, and remote monitoring units.
Insulating Joints and Flange Kits
Monolithic insulating joints and flange isolation kits that electrically separate protected sections from foreign or unprotected structures. They confine CP current to the intended segment and prevent current drain.
Anode Backfill and Groundbeds
Carbonaceous backfill (coke breeze) and engineered groundbed assemblies that house impressed current anodes to lower resistance and extend anode life. Configurations include shallow, deep-well, and distributed groundbeds.
CP Cables, Connections and Test Stations
Header cables, anode lead wires, thermite or pin-brazed connections, and above-grade test stations used to wire and measure the CP system. Test stations provide access points for potential surveys and bonding.
CP Design and Survey Services
Engineering of current requirements, anode sizing, and groundbed layout, plus field surveys such as close-interval potential survey (CIPS) and direct current voltage gradient (DCVG) for coating and protection assessment.
