Vapor Recovery Units (VRU)
Skid-mounted compressor packages that draw low-pressure flash and working/breathing vapors from storage tanks and route the recovered gas to a sales line, fuel system, or compression header. Sized by vapor volume and suction pressure, they recover salable hydrocarbons while cutting tank emissions.
Vapor Recovery Towers (VRT)
Vertical pressure vessels installed upstream of storage tanks to capture and consolidate flash gas liberated as liquids drop from separator pressure to atmospheric. The VRT reduces the vapor load reaching the tanks and provides a stable, slightly pressurized suction source for the VRU.
Vapor Blower Units
Lower-pressure rotary or regenerative blower packages used where vapors only need a modest pressure boost to reach a flare, combustor, or low-pressure gathering point. They handle larger volumes at lower differential pressure than reciprocating compressor VRUs.
Vapor Combustion Units (VCU)
Enclosed combustors and thermal oxidizers that destroy recovered vapors when recovery to a sales line is not feasible, achieving high VOC and methane destruction efficiency. They serve as the control or backup path during upset, maintenance, or off-spec gas conditions.
Marine and Loading Vapor Control
Dock safety units, detonation arrestors, and vapor blower/combustion packages that capture and control vapors displaced during marine, rail, and truck loading of crude and refined products. They are engineered to manage the high transient vapor flows and safety hazards of transfer operations.
Crude Oil and Condensate Vapor Recovery Packages
Integrated VRT-plus-VRU systems configured for the high flash-gas rates of light crude, condensate, and high-GOR production. These packages emphasize liquids knockout and condensate recovery alongside emissions reduction.
Emissions Monitoring and Digital Twin Systems
Sensor, controls, and remote-monitoring packages that track VRU runtime, suction pressure, and capture performance, sometimes using digital-twin models for predictive operation and leak detection. They support continuous compliance documentation and fugitive-emission reduction.
